Dr. Syed chose oncology for its blend of rigorous science and meaningful patient relationships. The field’s constant evolution challenges him intellectually, while its human impact demands empathy, presence, and trust—values central to his practice. His clinical focus includes lung cancer, genitourinary cancers, breast cancer, and targeted therapies.
His approach to care is collaborative, evidence-based, and patient-centered. Dr. Syed believes the best outcomes come from combining modern oncology with clear communication and shared decision-making. His goal is to guide patients through their cancer journey with the three C’s: clarity, compassion, and confidence.
Alongside clinical care, Dr. Syed remains actively engaged in research. His research interests include cellular therapies in hematologic malignancies—particularly multiple myeloma—as well as health-related outcomes in lymphomas. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented abstracts at national and international conferences. During fellowship, he served as Principal Investigator on a grant examining health disparity outcomes through molecular differences in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
Outside of work, Dr. Syed enjoys traveling, staying active, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new movies and television series. He also enjoys the beach, hiking, and life as a proud cat dad.
